They will always increase prices to whatever they think they can get away with. Always have, always will. AI is merely a new get-richer-quicker scheme.

Reminds me of when Air Canada started putting their support chat through AI and once it started giving people refunds, they tried to go "We can't be held responsible for what our AI model promises people" and I'm pretty sure they reversed course on AI once they were forced to be held responsible.

This is how I felt when people were defending Foamstars using it for the cover albums. Like it's either "So much that they just basically used AI for everything so it's not worth it" or "They used it for a fraction of the game and could've just done the extra work so it's not worth it."

Now more than ever we need to vote with our wallets and use our voices to protest against companies using AI. If you (like me) don't want companies to use AI art then stand by that. Don't buy their products or promote them on your YouTube channel. Demand they actually HIRE artists.
