All that matters is how we treat each other.
Be curious, not judgemental.
I'm old enough to remember.

The goal of modern conservatism is to transfer public wealth to private hands for pennies on the dollar until the coffers are empty. Everything else is just fan service and smokescreens.

As they were debating this, I, too, thought about the food truck debacle. I'm betting the number of properties satisfying the criteria is small, and the number on which a profitable business could situate is *much* smaller.

He gives great click.
There are way too many people in the media - even the "liberal" media - who see Donald Trump as the greatest show on earth and the best thing that ever happened to their careers.

I've heard that it takes an hour to drive anywhere in Toronto, and yet people will spend two hours round trip for beef patties.
Councillor Shan moves to exclude three streets in his ward. He worries the retail spaces created won't just be small shops selling ice cream to locals, but things like "beef patties that are so popular that people from the 905 will come to get it." That'll just add to traffic problems, he says.

Guy from FoxNews texted the guy from Road Rules to loan out the military to do air traffic control because the Apprentice guy who is president is a toddler.
Read that sentence, then read it again. We great?

I can just imagine all the lobbyists for corporate chains cajoling our favourite councilors.
Disappointed to see Toronto’s planning committee not support small-scale retail in n’hoods in their ever growing quest it seems to suck all the charm out of the city. Corner stores & cafes next to houses? The horror.

It's a cookbook.
If aliens with sufficient tech to show up do show up and say, "Hi, humans, WTF 🖖" I'm afraid the base odds are about 5-1 in their favor that we'd already be fooked just through our own intra-species issues

I had a dream recently where stores like Loblaws had starting charging an admission fee and a pre-authorized deposit on my credit card.
Convenience store wanted to charge $3.38 for one of those little pocket packs of kleenex. I laughed and left. That. Is. Robbery.
