Let us not think for one second that the US' work on releasing Belarusian dissidents is because Trump actually likes dissidents, or believes in human rights. He's lifting sanctions on Belarusian potash in exchange - so he can continue his economic coercion campaign against 🇨🇦 by tariffing - potash.
