Hey @globalnews.ca, this is an irresponsible and dangerous headline choice. Have you watched the video? If so, why would you platform a quote containing clear disinformation, without context? Fix it.

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

I don’t know how anyone can compare Carter to Marner. The Raptors wouldn’t exist without Carter and people will barely remember Marner’s time with the leafs in five years.

There are many things I’m annoyed at Carney / Liberals for at the moment (abandoning climate action, for example) but internationally, in this moment in time… PP can’t hold a candle to him. Watch the speech, important to understand where the puck is going right now.

In standard diplomatic terms, this is shockingly blunt. It's also absolutely correct, and I'm glad to see that Carney is clear about where we stand, and willing to describe that reality on the world stage.
Carney: "American hegemony in particular helped provide public goods, a stable financial system... this bargain no longer works. Let me be direct.
