A shitty side effect of the current US govt being hostile to literally everyone is a sharp tone shift with how my intl friends talk about & see the US. And I truly get it and agree with them. But it fucking sucks. Especially in the PNW we actively reject the admin. I'm so sick of being the villains.

Since 2020, “rule of law” became politicians’ mantra, urging police to shut down #Wetsuweten solidarity blockades.

Fast-forward six years, the line has been abandoned in favour of something suggesting law is not so much a rule but something to be manipulated.
