I hope every one of these pieces of shit get returned to them every action they put into the world.

But what else can you expect from a bunch of leg breakers who take orders from someone who brags about shooting puppies?
BREAKING: In Memphis, US Marshals working for the DOJ kicked a dog so hard it broke a rib. That’s the level of brutality we’re dealing with. Zero humanity.

The people saying things like "why aren't cops arresting them" about ICE are just an indication of how insulated so many of my fellow whites are. Police have been murdering and abducting people for centuries and you think they're going to stop ICE now because what? They don't like the competition?

Enshittification continues. Just got the notice that gmail's removing the ability to check pop3 accounts. That was the whole damn reason I bought into the gmail ecosystem, so I could bring them all together in one place that was also available on my phone. 1/

This is no longer about politics.

It is about good vs evil.

Remember this. You have not got hate so deep in your soul it makes you evil.

You still have your moral code, and don’t have to pretend to be religious for pseudo righteousness.

We can hope.

Is there anything we can do to help them stick to that decision, if true?
Excellent news.

I hope many of the people laid off at the Post today will band together to create new journalistic media. Most of the people doing the work at news outlets do believe in a truly free press and real reporting but they're constrained by the owners. They have a chance to break out from that now.

Bezos isn't destroying the Washington Post because it isn't profitable. He's destroying the Washington Post because he's calculated that a robust free press threatens the ability of his class to warp society around their interests

ICE is running a “conveyor belt” of illegally detained Minnesota families.

Agents are arresting entire families with legal status and immediately shipping them off to Texas to deny them legal representation and avoid the federal courts in Minnesota.

The cruelty is endless.

Sunday sketches. One of my favorite winter bird visitors is the white-throated sparrow. I love their little yellow eyebrows.

I’m busy working on lots of new ideas, keeping some quite spontaneous. I’ve got spring on my mind because I’m feeling a little tired of cold damp winter weather. I’m also enjoying using Schminke’s granulation watercolour paints

Black History Month is a time to recognize the lived, shared experience of all Black folks who have fundamentally shaped, challenged, and ultimately strengthened America. It’s about taking an unvarnished look at the past so that we can create a better future.

I also feel this about court cases. They're largely ignoring rulings where they want to, but it's important we have the cases on record and documented for building whatever comes after this and holding people accountable later. They want it to feel useless so we stop trying; we can't hand them that
I'll be honest, I don't expect fair elections for the midterms. But I'm going to push for voting anyway because we can't just hand this country over to them. We've got to fight to the bitter end to restore Democracy in this country.
