This month's #BirdWhisperer Project #bird #art is the Turkey Vulture. I've been feeling rusty on my pencil drawing so I chose to do this one in graphite.

Researching dead internet theory for something I'm writing. And I mean, I wasn't looking for an AI Overview; I do my own writing thanks. But this feels like the AI equivalent to shielding their eyes from the camera shouting "NO COMMENT NO COMMENT!" as they get escorted through the crowd

Went to my first Concord Art Association meeting yesterday. They have guest artists in; this time was abstract artist Pat Moseuk. I even won a door prize. All in all a great time!

This little seed bandit gave us a scare. He seemed to have hurt his foot and had an episode of either confusion or maybe he was just having trouble gripping things and was wobbly from that. Vet checked him out, xrays came back fine, no evidence of stroke or illness or injury, thankfully.

Right. Forgot the USGS was a federal agency (I know, it's right in the name). Go to check out where the quakes we just had were centered and the map looks like this

I show 2 pending record matches for a person. When I click on "Review 2 Matches" it leads me to a page that says there are no matches.
Because there are no matches I can't dismiss this notice. Anybody have experience w/fixing this?

Google has made itself useless for reverse image searching to see if someone's profile pic came from a stock image site or if someone else is using one of your photos online. They'll train AI on pictures of you without your consent but you better not try to trace an image's source.

I completed 44,140 tasks w/Remember The Milk in 2024 #rtmstats
Works out to one task about every 12 minutes, if you don't sleep (I break my projects to comprehensive checklists, 1 check per task)
Need to frame this & hang it next to my desk to look at every time my brain says I'm not doing enough
