I'm a sculptor and dollmaker in rural Scotland who works with paper mache most of the time. I make gremlins and all sorts of odd little critters!

Back in the winter of 2023 I made a ghost statue out of an old wood candlestick holder, a polystyrene ball, polymer clay sculpted face, old lace curtains, cheesecloth and a donated bridal veil.
I did a photoshoot in a nearby park, and these are the results.

'Island Lake, California' - an aerial embroidery commission from last September I haven't shared yet! The right hand side was a nightmare at times, very busy with textures and elements and odd shapes. I hope it came out effective though? I don't have much experience in rocky landscapes :)

The Lena River is one of the largest rivers in Siberia. The river is largely fed by snowmelt runoff during the early spring and summer months, and at its peak discharge in late June it carries more water than the Amazon River. You'll NEVER guess what happened between the first picture and the second and third ones, so let me give you a clue: it does not involve Lumi being a good boy.
A Finnish lapphund standing in the snow on a frozen marsh. It's peaceful and quiet. The only tracks in the snow belong to wild animals and to us, from a previous walk. Very few people find their way here. Lumi is doing very well, staying close to me. A Finnish lapphund, lying down in the snow on top of a frozen lake. You could never tell from the photo, but there are some moose tracks just in front of him and he's very eager to go explore. Unfortunately actions have consequences. Thanks!! Sorry to hear about the injury though, really hope your recovery goes well. :( I've had a few overuse injuries (mostly recurring hamstring issues) and it's such a frustrating time, esp when you're in the habit of running lots but then suddenly just have to quit for weeks! Insanity-inducing.

Ahaha thanks, I'm a bit addicted to running especially on trails! But walking is much nicer when you want to appreciate the scenery (not just watch your step for treacherous mud puddles and roots and stones :'))

I will give the pup some extra scritches from you, he was tuckered after a long walk 😌

First sunny day this year I think, so spent a lot of it outdoors! 10 miles of trail running through craggy woodlands and mucky fields, then back home to pick up the dog & camera before heading out again :')
