A couple of my Dad's old slides, Ullapool. My folks were visiting me when I was working up North in 1992/93.
1) Fishing boat De'wy Rose with the Lerwick registration LK243.
2) Murmansk registered Atriya, a Russian rescue/supply vessel, probably working with the 'Klondyker' Russian factory ships.
The De'y Rose wooden fishing boat with the Lerwick registration LK243. It is careened on the foreshore at Ullapool while crew-members attend to repairs. The Russian rescue/supply vessel Atriya, registered in Murmansk. At the time (early 1990s) there were a lot of Russian factory ships coming into Ullapool, they would be working with their fishing fleet. The fishing fleet were nicknamed "Klondykers" by the locals around Ullapool.

Oak trees next to the River Isla last week, cold, damp and dull conditions. The river was up to the top of its banks, we've had a fair bit of rain.

Made and fitted a new foam seal to the Praktica back, not the neatest but better than it was. If I stop down the 50mm lens past f5.6 the aperture blades are sticking. In the meantime I've attached my CZJ 29mm f2.8 lens. Meter needs to be set to overexpose by 2/3 stop. Waiting on film coming 🙂👍📷

Blew my lottery scratchcard winnings, £10,at a charity shop in the town this morning. Hoping this one lasts longer than my previous Praktica. Battery from former West Germany, so it's not been changed recently, no apparent leakage damage. Will need to make a new light seal again though. Happy.

This has been my rig for the past few days. I got the 'S' just after the 'EE' and had them both repaired at the same time. This is my first roll of film (XP2 Super) through the 'S', still got quite a lot of frames left to expose. It's fun to use, nice and light.
