Canadian Anti-Hate Network continuing to knock it out of the park on their research and reporting into white nationalism/supremacy in Canada.
1/ NEW: We identified 20 people who attended a white nationalist conference and, despite their efforts to keep it secret, caught another 30 people on film to identify in the future. Several MMA/combat sports instructors were discovered and their gyms have cut ties.

In all seriousness, may God protect him from developing a saviour complex. This kind of attention can turn one’s head. He is doing good work - it takes a strong person to stay as John the Baptist and not try to be Jesus - God bless him and protect him.
Remember Rev. David Black, the Chicago pastor who was shot in the head with pepper balls? If you haven't heard him speak yet, listen to this.

The only reason to label an office is because someone gets lost trying to find it. Is he at the point where he is getting lost trying to get there? There is no way anybody else who works there needs a sign to find it.

Biblical scholars - is there any resource or commentary on why specific changes were made in the NRSVUE? I'm curious specifically about 2 Thess 3:6 where "living in idleness" changed to "living irresponsibly." Anybody know why that change? Or have educated guesses?

This is terrible. Teen Vogue has had some of the best political coverage I have seen, bar none. This is just really bad.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.
certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

Start with critique of Israel is not antisemitism and a/s is bad and then talk about the enemy who is the global elite? This is the end game of Christian Zionists. They were ALWAYS going to throw Israel under the bus in the end. This isn’t the HF changing their mind, it’s them taking the next step.

I love the language of collateral benefits. The collateral benefit of me masking to avoid covid is that I also didn’t get the flu or any other cold over the last five years. Also, my face is always warm in winter and masks are so much more convenient than scarves.

Not far off from the Roman Catholic approach to other faiths, as found in Nostra Aetate. Not that Vance would actually know that.
Vance: Do I hope eventually that she is somehow moved in by church. Yeah, I honestly, I do wish that because I believe in the Christian gospel. I hope eventually my wife comes to see it the same way. If she does not, then god says everybody has free will and so that does not cause a problem for me

I love using the time timer app for presenters. It’s a clock face with the time blocked in a red wedge that narrows as the time countdowns. When I use it, panelists tell me how much they love it and it feels calmer than the franticness when they only have five minutes left. And they never go over.
