I think it was around the 2010 era here where the area you could actually hover over the timeline with your mouse to scrub around became very small and also misaligned with the actual graphic. Also this UI should be below the video and not fading on top of it. Awful!!

i don’t think this is conspiratorial at all. it’s not what the tech was designed for originally but the ruling class has clearly identified that it’s a useful application and has a vested interest in seeing it grow
my most conspiracy brained thought right now is “ai slop isn’t just out there to make number go up for people who are already rich, it doubly serves the purpose of lowering the availability of useful information transmission in a fascist state”
