A good friend (yearrrs ago) used to disrespect me. Not on purpose but when I brought it up, it was waved off. We didn't talk for a while. One day he sent me a big "from the heart" message and it meant a lot. Compassion is a big part of friendship. It's not even a hard concept.

I can say on good authority that it takes 7 to 10 years to develop game development skills to “good enough” to produce commercial game content. 7-10 years plus the cost of a university education.
