Medium height, medium build, brown hair, grey eyes.

Knows way too much about John Locke (1632-1704).

And Prince (God I miss Prince).
I mean, by all means remove comments on your own website @financialtimes.com.

But this is a social media platform - if you're gonna post it, let people reply.

In particular, when it's the another gem from old Pedo-Finance-TechBro complex - people take a lively interest!

This is entirely correct.

Reform‘s leadership are a bunch of traitorous thugs.
What's happening in the US is what ReformUK and the Tories want to do here. They will murder British citizens if they get power.

It was 10 years ago today that I flew to #PaisleyPark in Minneapolis to watch Prince play what was perhaps the best - and certainly the most intimate - concert he would ever play.

It was incredible.

I miss Prince.

I've said this before and I'll say it again.
It would only take a tiny handful of Republican Congress members or senators to stop the slide of America toward authoritarian fascism, but nope. They're all in.

So apparently Prince, the Police, Kate Bush and Fleetwood Mac are all in the UK Top 20 this week.

I guess we liked the 80s.

Stranger Things indeed.

I knew that Alexis Taylor from @hotchipofficial.bsky.social was a huge #Prince fan, and the man himself is obviously name-checked in the song.

But I had no idea how directly this video was derived from the #SignOTheTimes video - pretty cool.

It isn't just Iran and it isn't just Scottish Independence.

Social Media - and in particular Twitter - have been vectors for subversion for more than a decade.

Finished Philip Pullman's "The Rose Field" last night, and in general, thought it was at least underwhelming, and verging on terrible / incoherent / meaningless / totally undermining of His Dark Materials.

So odd to learn this was the 8/9th version of the end

Hard agree with this - companies are amoral intelligent agents - they need to be given strict limits and destroyed when they overstep these bounds.
I do not believe in the death penalty for humans.

I do support the death penalty for corporations.

When they murder people, let's dissolve them. Break them up, destroy their technology, nationalize their assets.

We do not have to offer and I believe indeed should not offer any benefit of the doubt: Anything sold as "AI" should be presumed ineffective, exploitative, environmentally ruinous, bigotry-amplifying and otherwise until proven otherwise.
