This is so dangerous.
Not only is Prager an insane propagandist, he’s a racist.
His revisionist history ilk has no place in classrooms.
The White House has a preferred alternative to PBS: PragerU, a nonprofit organization that specializes in creating right-leaning educational short videos for adults and children. . It may already be in countless classrooms. www.vox.com/today-explai...

How the right-wing network PragerU could fill the void left by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting’s defunding.

If the Supreme Court thinks universal injunctions are unconstitutional, to wait until *now* to say that, in this of all cases, with this of all presidents, is a devastating indictment of both its impartiality and its prudence.

This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.

the number of times i was told i did not really want a simple chronological feed
Just yesterday I was thinking about how, when social media platforms rolled out algorithms, everyone was like “we don’t want that.” And they were like “no no, trust us, the data says you do; it’ll be great.” Now not only are the algorithms not great, they sucked the life out of everything

Perhaps we should recognize that the problem isn’t Gen Z not showing up but rather being systematically disenfranchised by the GOP.
Wow.

Donald Trump's approval rating with Gen Z, especially Gen Z women, has fallen off a cliff.

Perhaps more than 42% of them should show up to vote at midterms.

Revealing just how selectively this administration respects national sovereignty.

With Canada and Greenland, Trump threatens invasion enthusiastically.

With El Salvador, Trump sees sovereignty as sacrosanct.

Called my congressman who voted for the SAVE act.

Me: What documents will I need to vote if this passes?
Staffer: a DL and birth certificate.
Me: The documents don’t match
Staffer: Then a marriage certificate.
Me: Will my husband need the marriage certificate too?
Staffer: No
Me: See the problem?

JFC. WE ARE STILL WORSE OFF. We still have *at least* 10% global tariffs. Businesses can’t make decisions, as they don’t know what tariffs will be 90 days from now
I usually say Trump is great at repackaging the status quo as victory but this is significantly worse than pre-Liberation Day status quo

If they had read some of the books before banning them, maybe they’d have a better understanding of what tariffs really are.

If you have a Republican representing you in the House or Senate, call them to demand they undo Trump's tariffs.

They're already shaken by the 20 point shift in Florida and the Wisconsin loss. You can fuel that feeling.

It's getting a lot of attn today. But even before today most of the country had very little idea of what has happened at NIH or through it the entire ecosystem of biomedical research in the US. Simply put, Musk, Kennedy & Trump exploded a bomb right in the middle of cancer cure research in the US.

What people in every part of higher education need to understand is that Republicans now want to do to universities what they’ve tried to do to labor unions: erase them from the institutional landscape. The question is how much you want to collaborate in your own destruction.
