I guarantee you Musks "put datacenters in space" thing is because he hears "space is cold" and thinks there's no issue with heat.
There is VERY MUCH an issue with heat. Heat is a HUGE problem because to get rid of heat you need to get it to GO somewhere, and there is nowhere for it to GO in space.

Most of the people who say their ancestors immigrated "the right way" are describing an era when you could basically just show up at the dock
I genuinely have no idea how to convey this to the American people, but I think the biggest impediment to any kind of immigration reform is that people are convinced that "legal" and "illegal" are immutable, intrinsic categories instead of a rapidly-shifting arbitrary constellation of regulations.
