Det handlar till stor del om möjligheten att välja bort klasskompisar, inte att välja bort skolor eller pedagogik. Vi vet att det är så. Centerpartiet vet att det är så. Centerpartiets väljare gillar det inte men ju högre upp i leden man kommer desto mer verkar det vara viktigt.

Anecdote: In my group of 🇮🇹 high-school friends, 5/11 emigrated.

Of these, 4/5 have established a family with kids, with a total of 8 kids across.

Of those remaining in Italy, only 1/6 has (2) kids.

Den senaste veckan har Vita husets retorik mot Danmark trappats upp igen. Men det har varit tydligt för alla som studerar USA mer noggrant att det inte bara handlar om retorik. Trump tillsatte ett särskilt sändebud till Grönland i december.

I completely missed that Republicans introduced a bill to increase the endowment tax from 1.4% to 21%. If passed, Harvard would go from paying ~$35m to $525m/yr in federal taxes (that’s 8.2% of its current operating expenses)

7. The ban is so sweeping that "confirmation bias" — the tendency of people "to accept or notice information if it appears to support what they already believe or expect" — is included, even though it has nothing to do with race or gender.
