No kings in America
In April, we took to the streets for the biggest day of civic protest in years.

No Kings Day on June 14 is going to be even bigger, with more events in more places to reject Trump’s authoritarianism.

Please join us at your local No Kings Day event in two weeks: www.nokings.org?SQF_SOURCE=i...

This is, by far, the best and most complete description of what is currently happening to biomedical research in the United States. Derek Lowe normally writes an incredibly level-headed column on drug discovery in academia and the private sector. www.science.org/content/blog...

My postdoc was partially funded by a ball of platinum that my mentor found during a lab clean out. Somehow the university treated as unclaimed treasure and he used the proceeds of the sale to cover some of my salary. Postdoc resulted in a little paper that was my most cited and led to 3 books!
