For the uninitiated: Each of these case citations contains the volume and page where the case is publicly available. So they're redacting a thing but telling you exactly where you can find it. And mostly, they're redacting an abbreviation for which court the case was in, like “S.D.N.Y.”
I have seen DOJ do some strange redactions before, but this is up there:

Pluribus rules because it’s forcing people who wanna see a bunch of sci fi lore dumps to instead watch amazing actors have incredibly interesting conversations about what it means to be a person

The Bank of America sponsorship is the pièce de résistance here. I was born before women could have bank accounts in their own names
"Has feminism failed women brought to you by bank of america" is my MKULTRA sleeper agent activation phrase

Once again a reminder: We can have trans rights, bodily autonomy, gender nonconformity, and freedom of expression, or we can have none of these things.

There’s no third option.
In addition to this administration trying to kill kids, and they're also coming for our binders? OUR BINDERS.

I am reporting back to tell you that the massive deer are still in my neighborhood. There was a deer the size of a quarter horse munching grass in the neighbor's yard, and thank the lord Benny didn't notice it.

Steve isn’t here anymore, but he always posted this picture on Hanukkah so I thought we could carry on his tradition and remember him.
Happy Hanukkah to our friends who celebrate. Rachel Posner, a rabbi’s wife in Kiel, Germany, took this photograph in 1931 -- a potent reminder that fascism must be fought in every generation, even if it's wrapped in an American flag and a red hat.

This is really incredible. The government's battle to deport Abrego Garcia has apparently been based on a lie from the start. Not even the "gang affiliation" lie or the "human smuggling" lie, but the more basic assertion that he was ordered to be deported in the first place.
🚨Judge Xinis finds that, incredibly, Mr. Abrego Garcia was never ordered deported in 2019. She notes that every since this saga began all the way back in March, the government has NEVER been able to produce any evidence that the immigration judge actually issued a removal order.

It's time once again for my annual #treebybike post. This is the 12/19/42 cover of @newyorker.com, so one full year after the attack on Pearl Harbor. This would be the first real Christmas alone, or without a family member, for millions in the US. Gas and tire rationing had begun earlier that year.🗃️

I was on the phone with one of my friends and he went “Someone just walked into my house!!!…. Hello?….Hello?” Real horror movie stuff. And then his wife popped out. “SEE! This is what happens when you don’t LOCK THE DOORS AT NIGHT! Imagine this at 1am!!!!”

“Go Tell It On the Mountain” Sinatra/Crosby for Christian.

“Christmas All Over Again” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is the first Xmas song I remember LOVING and needing to listen to on repeat.
What is your favorite "Christian" Christmas song and what is your favorite "Secular" Christmas song?

I will probably always adore "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" for Christian.

And "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" for secular.
