If you want pieces on Rojava, let me know. I’ve seen terrible reporting or non at all so far from U.S. outlets . Far too many rely on so called “experts” who are just paid propagandists without the language skills or contacts to cover kurdistan.
After the failure of negotiations in Damascus, a general mobilization has begun in Rojava. Youth from northern Kurdistan appear To have crossed the border to join the defence. it feels like 2014 again, complete with horrific executions of SDF prisoners.

Another possibility: Trump knew he was going to go after EU support for Greenland and doesn't want to fight a battle on two fronts at once.
He doesn't want us standing with them so he's trying to look fair.
Suspected for a while he's keeping the prospect of a CUSMA deal alive for this reason...
