Not from a political figure whose influence is shrinking by the week.

And certainly not from someone who only imagines he inspires fear when, in reality, all he...

I will never forget having to edit Jamal’s final, posthumous piece for the Washington Post, after he was murdered.

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

Opinion | Jamal Khashoggi: What the Arab world needs most is free expression
The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events.

#GVerse DEMOCRATS,

11 "or more" Democrats are reportedly breaking ranks and preparing to vote for Trump and against their own party and country.

They are getting nothing in return.

Zero gain on ACA subsidies.

They are giving up everything for nothing.

Contact them ASAP. Please share.

True and very important. There was no emergency justifying an order to keep this plant open, it was in the process of being closed, it was uneconomical and not needed!!!
People in DC may not care who pays the millions to keep this plant open unnecessarily, but Michiganders do — because the cost will eventually be passed on to ratepayers. The state had a plan. The Admin. decided to override it, to the tune of $4.3 million per week. www.mlive.com/environment/...

I’ll keep pushing this line of analysis because I’m increasingly convinced the clearest path out of this mess is for Dems to adopt a relentless anti-corruption, anti-inequality, anti-oligarchy, pro-democracy platform. The Dem leadership hasn’t realized it yet, but they’re now a reform party.

May we channel the joy and hope we felt on that day as we forge a path forward for democracy in America.
