Aside from the fact we need a top prospect at C, how many millions of dollars in merchandise did the #redsox miss out on by not drafting Ike Irish? Just selling jerseys with IRISH on the back in Boston would pay his salary several times over

Rafael Devers should’ve been a Red Sox for life.

The front office fumbled its relationship with the most important person in the organization and one of the best hitters alive, couldn’t fix it and just punted.

Mindless. A complete and utter clown show. Get Breslow the hell out.

Last week, DHS and Secretary Noem's staff and spokespeople suggested that because Mr. Abrego Garcia had $1,100 in cash on him when arrested outside Home Depot seeking day labor, that was strong evidence that he was a member of MS-13.

I guess that raises a similar question about her $3,000.

“We’re gonna cut Medicaid, but no one will lose Medicaid as long as states spend more to make up for our cuts - so it’s not really a cut” appears to be the new GOP line.

It’s ofc bullshit - but also some states have automatic rollbacks of their Medicaid expansion if the federal match decreases.
Austin Scott previews how House Rs plan to cut Medicaid: "The federal govt is paying 90% of the Medicaid expansion. What we've talked about is moving that 90% level of the expansion back... nobody would be kicked off Medicaid as long as governors decided they wanted to continue to fund the program"

Dem leadership lately: have you seen these egg prices? No bueno!

Average Dem winemom: We are a nation of laws, not men, with the same law for the favorite at court as the farmer at his plough or we are nothing.
You know, I've been saying basically the same thing — the Constitution has lapsed, we're in the state of nature, yada yada — but I dunno. The constitutional order is reasserting itself a bit in the Abrego Garcia case and related matters

Including, crucially, among the broader public

Every disabled person you know is watching the way you frame your outrage around the things RFK is saying and doing. You should all be evaluating your instincts at every step here.
I honestly can’t stop thinking about this RFK speech. A lot of the outrage around it is focused on pointing out that it’s not true.

But so fucking what if it was? Do people whose bodies don’t work not deserve to exist in society? If all these things were true for a person are they less worthy?

Senator Cassidy comes out for enormous cuts to Medicaid.

Not surprising given that he helped write the Graham-Cassidy Medicaid destruction plan in 2017.

Expect to see more of this from Rs - but don’t be fooled: cutting money to states to run Medicaid means people lose coverage and benefits.

Bring this to Judge Boasberg's attention before he rules on criminal contempt. And to Judge Xinis's attention so she can decide to rule on criminal contempt in response to the DOJ lies to her about the status of Abrego Garcia. And to SCOTUS. Paying to have him kept is not "facilitating" his return.
Van Hollen says that he asked the VP of El Salvador why his government continues to hold Abrego Garcia even though he’s not charged with any crime and there’s no evidence that he’s MS-13.

“His answer was that the Trump administration is paying the government of El Salvador to keep him at CECOT”
