Quand la discipline de parti oblige des militants de gauche à fermer les yeux sur l’investiture d’un type qui co-signait en 2010 un livre avec Dieudonné, alors que ce dernier avait déjà fait monter R. Faurisson sur scène et encensait Jean-Marie Le Pen, il y a un gros-gros-gros problème 🙇♂️

Anyone into historical medical terms for common conditions out here? I have an ancestor who died ✨ in a state mental hospital✨ in 1938 from sepsis subsequent to "chronic encephalitis" and I am curious as to if the encephalitis was wet brain or a really really late sleeping sickness

The cool part about doing this daily is your brain eventually catches up and IME after about a month the headaches go away. The only way out is through. It is like training for a marathon, it gets easier
Shout out to people routinely working in their 2nd or 3rd language.
Yesterday I gave a 1-hour research seminar in French. Afterwards, my brain was pretty much done for the day.
Respect to the loads of scientists who do this daily (and usually a lot more effectively than me!)
