Ocean sailor and renewable energy engineer trying to do his part to save the planet and its inhabitants.

Words cannot convey the absolute horror of watching my international colleagues literally waste away after weathering constant bombardment and sniper fire since 2023

Absolutely horrendous
🚨BREAKING: The last journalists working for AFP in Gaza have said they can no longer work for the news agency.

They are out of energy and they are starving to death.

I have never seen a statement from a news organisation like it.

This is an image that will resound like a shot around the world.

This is Emily Feiner, a NY social worker, being physically hauled out of a Republican Mike Lawler's town hall meeting by brown shirts in the NY-17 district - for asking the right questions.

Here's your reminder that the U.S. is still jailing Rumeysa Ozturk—over an op-ed. The State Dept admittedly found no evidence she’s antisemitic or supports Hamas. And yet she’s behind bars for speech. In America. Absolutely deranged. reason.com/2025/04/30/r...

I saw a snippet of this guy on the news. I didn't realize he's blind in addition to being homeless. And now he's evicted from his campsite, along with his close neighbors. This is not how Oregonian should be treating their most vulnerable folks.

One thing to remember here is that the US is the richest country in the world. To have someone who lost his vision go homeless, just shows what a complete failure our government really is. Always prioritizing the rich and corporations instead of people.
The Trump administration plans to forcibly remove Greg, along with hundreds of other unhoused people like him, living in Deschutes National Forest, with no plans to relocate them to a safe location or other residence.

We need housing not handcuffs.

630,000 Virginians may lose health care if Republican cuts to Medicaid pass.

Under the trigger law, even a 1% federal cut to Medicaid could cause all of them to lose coverage.

Republicans are pushing this along with tax cuts for billionaires.

The first vote is today; I'm voting no, obviously.
