I made a character for DayLite's Dragon.
They were asexual, trying to discover what it's like to be in relationships with people that are not sexual in nature.

Right now I'm in the depressed, everyone hates me, part of the cycle. I know it's not true - I just have to look at my son who loves me - and I only need to push past it to the other side.

Keep making your art, please! And if your art contains mess and contradiction, that can actually be great! Practice and learning the craft are wonderful. But if you're making something that's really yours, it'll have something no one ever did before. Because only you could do it. 🌸
On one hand this sucks because so many of my favorite stuff growing have been made by terrible people.
On the other hand - it does encourage me to to keep making because I know that when I making terrible things - it's not because I'm terrible - it's because I just need more practice.

For a v long time, I conflated "person who can make good art" with "person who has a functioning moral compass." I think that transference (based on appreciation, love, enthusiasm) is something a lot of us do. It hurts a lot when we find that our appreciation was hijacked so someone can do bad shit.
