Thieves of the Tome is officially digitally released! v1.0 looks and plays awesome and I'm so excited to get it out in the world.

The book is 70 pages of dripping acidpunk goodness featuring mechanics to run and play games using real books!

the second game i ran this weekend was Thieves of the Tome by @dairykillsme.bsky.social ! i love the concept so much and it delivers on exactly what it promises, the taking of the actual books and making spells from them is structured super well and the gm prep tools were exactly enough
2 tables with 5 books of different sizes in the centre of them, dice and character sheets as well

Not that I often take stock in what people on Goodreads say but I gotta say What Feasts at Night may be even better than What Moves the Dead. T. Kingfisher can weave a dark gothic story just as strongly as Poe. Reading this while on a Vermont road trip is hitting. The scene involving the cover art..

Definitely Fiasco! It showed me that you barely even need dice to have a good time at the table. Some of the most interesting stories we've told were pure improv.
