Watching Labour MPs take a wrecking ball to nature makes me so angry & so sad. Their action tonight voting down amendments to the #PlanningBill intended to protect wildlife & habitats from destruction is so reckless & so counterproductive. People didn’t vote Labour for this 👇

The Prime Minister must pick up the phone now to Donald Trump. We have 24 hours to stop Trump’s billion-dollar raid on British licence fee payers.

We’ve written to the PM, calling on him to demand that Trump drop his ludicrous $1 billion lawsuit against the BBC.

This week's #TerrierTuesday theme chosen by @dogtorapproximate.bsky.social is #HiVis and Heidi has a range of suitably neon outfits for spotting her in the woods or snow, and at night too 🧡💛🩷

There are some great entries so far, so keep them coming!

Second swim of the week (trying to catch up on missing a few weeks) Unfortunately I think the massive slice of battenburg post swim has negated all the health benefits of cold water immersion #Seaham #Swimming #Cake

A morning swim to start the new week. We’ve missed a couple of weeks (not enough hours in the day) and the sea is now prickly cold. Still did a couple of widths 🥶😂 #Seaham #NovemberSwim

Post swim bacon sandwich and hot drink in The Lookout at Seaham Marina. The sea was so calm and inviting this morning. Perfect dolphin watching conditions……..and sure enough we saw a large pod moving up and down past the harbour 🐬🐬

If you still have friends on Twitter, maybe this will convince them to junk it. The Muskrat openly bankrolling Tommy Ten-Names in the UK courts brings Lord Rothermere and the BUF to mind, only Rothermere wasn't the richest man in the world. Fascism always goes hand-in-hand with obscene wealth.

When spare time allows and conditions are suitable we find ourselves heading to Seaham for a swim at every opportunity. A bit of “us” time. Six months since we lost the MiL and we are still wrangling adult social care and probate issues #Seaham #SlopeBeach

It’s been ages since we had the opportunity to stroll along one of our local beaches. Gorgeous Saturday afternoon mooch along Easington beach. Pleased the steps had been dug out. Last time we tried to get down a land slip had covered them up!
