It felt like a little bit of uncharted territory in the 70s. So quiet and unknown. Weirdly I’ve come across several people who visited the area at similar times!

Fond memories of Kippford. It’s the only place we ever got a holiday to when I was young. Only a few days if all was quiet on the farm. Dad would never really settle. We would visit his sister in Kirkcudbright then he was itching to be home again!!

Botheration! I have to say that although we had a lot of pears this year the quality wasn’t great. Lots were rotten in the core yet looked lovely.
