Oh my god, I just learned that @tinstargames.bsky.social has died. Many of us knew Steve: his drive to create TTRPGs like Relics, his activism and scathing criticism of bad actors, his many game reviews. The Aussie gaming community and the hobby at large has lost another prolific talent.

I had the privilege of playing a session (Fvlminata, if I remember correctly) with Steve Dee at a Gen Con twenty or so years back. A very good memory.

Oh VERY cool! Their base conclusion is that there is no long-term risk of death from getting the COVID vaccination, and it may actually reduce mortality (they actually expect to see *more* deaths in the vaxxed group due that cohort being older, but saw fewer)…
In a study following 23 million people age 18-59 (pretty young) for 4 years…despite the fact that the ones who got the COVID vaccine were overall older and sicker at baseline, they not only had 74% lower risk of dying from COVID than the unvaccinated but 25% lower risk of dying from any other cause!

I think the war of aggression against Venezuela is bad for a lot of reasons. One of those reasons is that Trump didn’t get AUMF from Congress.
It’s not the only reason, even the single most important reason (that would be “killing people for oil and power is BAD”), but it is _a_ reason.
