This morning at @propublica.org, we published a pair of stories about the children held at the immigrant detention center for families in Dilley, Texas. www.propublica.org/article/life...

Crazy to me when spec magazines are like, "please no vampires or robots". We've got tech bros plotting world domination and nobody's got something new to say about vampires or robots?

This is on top of the $87M facility in Berks County.

$206 million in taxpayer money just for two building that will surely require millions in retrofitting, followed I guess by federal contracts to run them.
“I feel like they’re going after everyone.”

ICE has purchased a 1.3 million-square-foot former Big Lots warehouse in Schuylkill County, PA, for $119.5M. The agency plans to convert the facility into a detention center for thousands of undocumented immigrants.

A massive warehouse in Tremont, Pa., that once moved cheap goods will now detain migrants in a $119 million ICE deal.

A deaf teen was violently detained by ICE for not “following orders”.

He couldn’t hear their orders.

They denied him an interpreter.

Denied him accommodations.

This is who they are.

They target the disabled because eugenics and fascism go hand in hand.

I am hacking away at a script and it is driving me absolutely nuts. Keep on adding and deleting scenes. But there's a cat in it, so, we persist

One of my friends does some community theater, and every time I see him perform I'm not prepared. It is a very special thing to watch someone you know do something cool, really really well.

Good GOD.
ICE has been holding a disabled Black man for a year!

Rodney Taylor is a double amputee who was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE took him.

He’s been denied his prosthetics & placed in solitary.

His health is declining.

Public outrage might save his life.

Say his name:

Demand the Release of Rodney Taylor from ICE Detention

Retrospectively maybe I should have said more and more furiously. ICE should be dismantled, and those that have committed crimes in its name should be tried in a court of law. But if my home county could stop openly collaborating with them, I would take that as a step 1.

This is not the place in my life where I typically talk politics, but it's hard not to, today.

Anyway, if you CAN do something other than fret and fear, do something. Donate. Join. Attend a meeting.

'Bout to go search a fund in Minneapolis to donate to, but if anyone knows already, please share.
