Who got the structure of DNA? Franklin, Crick, and Watson. It's true and we can't be stopped.
Went to a great talk the other day where the speaker referred to "Watson, Crick, and Franklin" nucleotides & let's all adopt that terminology

There will be another 60 vote Friday* on the garbage shutdown deal. If we can convince just one Senator from the 52 republicans and 8 Dems that voted yes to flip, we could still stop this. Please jump on the phone today, call them, and share this widely.

*If all goes by the regular schedule

AND FURTHERMORE - (Hi, this is your county chair, Sasha) I have my calendar cleared from March 1-April 11 which is when the C&A cycle runs, and I would truly love to be absolutely wrecked at the end because we had to process so much data because SO MANY DEMS SHOWED UP STATEWIDE.

Please show up.
As an example: the last time I caucused for a candidate, there were three people there for my district. We were electing five representatives. Me showing up, by myself, got two reps for the candidate I was caucusing for.

Democrats can't defeat Trump-MAGA authoritarianism without an agenda that stands squarely on the side of working people.

We need a pro-worker, pro-democracy, anti-establishment movement that will take on oligarchy like never before.

It starts with the party rejecting Big Money.

I know lies and misinformation travel faster than truth, but I find this post so much more interesting than any of Avi Loeb's (bonkers) assertions about 3I/ATLAS.

Loeb’s 3I/ATLAS “Anomalies” Explained
Avi Loeb continues to claim that 3I/ATLAS has many anomalous behaviors that lead to the conclusion that it “might” be an alien spacecraft.  He carefully hedges the probability that it is a spacecraft ...

I understand what the roll call vote totals are going to be but if the other Democrats had a problem with this deal they would be withholding unanimous consent on advancing it and loudly naming their colleagues as traitors.

This is a bad deal, and the old way of doing things is clearly not working.

We need new leaders in the Senate.

I don't make a point to get in everyone's business, but my bestie and I were talking to our server at this restaurant in Dubai.

I believe he was from Thailand, if I remember correctly. Was there for work and hadn't left in years.

The gag is, people hear this story and think. . .

if you are food insecure for both the humans and pets in your household there is a tool called Pet Help Finder that can help locate pet food banks nearby and other free or reduced price assistance and supplies for pets.
no one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, should have to give up their pet bc of this.

I don't know if Kat will win, but I LOVE the way she's running her campaign. She's being transparent, and using a lot of her campaign $$ and actions to actively help her community. This isn't just a good hearted move, I think it's smart politics.
Until the end of the government shutdown, our campaign will be donating $2,500 a month to a food pantry in the Ninth District.

And to my fellow candidates, I challenge you to do the same:

Did I mention that thing about nature being amazing and that we should get our act together, rethink everything that damages us & nature, and restore our planet?
Let’s just do it. Luckily it’s not rocket science.

WOW!
An incredible discovery. The first ever image of a baby exoplanet embedded in the dust rings from which planets are forming around a star. Confirms the developing view of planet formation that we’ve never before seen in action.

A clear explanation of the efforts of a Supreme Court Justice to try to mitigate the impacts of an awful person, and a reminder that it's helpful to learn the details about something before leaping in with a half-formed opinion.
If you’re trying to catch up on what went down with #SNAP late last night at #SCOTUS, here’s my attempt to read the breadcrumbs on the “administrative stay” issued by Justice Jackson—and why a justice so critical of the Court’s grants of emergency relief to Trump still granted temporary relief here:

You can’t afford a coal mine.

You can’t afford a gas turbine.

You can’t afford an oil rig.

Only fossil fuel states and billionaires can.

But you can afford a solar power station on your roof.

Now, ask yourself why you encounter so much anti-renewable energy propaganda.
