If writing is so easy why do people argue that they can’t do it without the pablumatic verbiage extruder

And if it’s so difficult then why do people think it’s not labour and writers are not workers

I'm seeing the discourse happening right now, and I would like to gently remind everyone that libraries still exist.

I know! I know! It feels like all good things have been dismantled in this the year of our Lord 2025, but libraries are, in fact, still in existence.

It's fall, y'all!

You might get trapped inside by the cold and ice over the next few months, but that doesn't mean the adventures have to stop. Give yourself the gift of great flash fiction by backing another year of FPSF! (link below⬇️)

For the evening crowd:
My story “Lago das Estrelas” is out now with Short Édition!!! 🎉

Abel is desperate to catch a star on the magical Lago das Estrelas and earn a wish to undo the pain of his disability. But catching a star isn’t easy, and making a wish has an unexpected cost.

Read it free today! 🌠
Lago das Estrelas
In the springtime, after the clouds of winter and before the storms of summer, when the skies were clear and the waters still, Abel went star-catching. The other villagers thought him daft, of course

I have done the thing where you make a burrito and give it a little pan fry and 10/10 infinitely better than normal burrito. Like, my burrito was super basic, near lame, before. But after a lil crispy pan time, Cinder-burrito is going to the lunch ball! Delicious!

The leaf blowers are out. It is raining. It has been raining. The ground is saturated. The leaves are soaked. They are not going to be moved from puddle to pile. Not for me. Not for anyone.

WHY ARE THE LEAF BLOWERS OUT?!?!

Remember how I posted this morning about a drabble that punched me in the face (in a good way)?

It's evening now and I just read this poem and HOLY WOW!

Anyway, once again please join me in getting punched in the face (in a good way) and read this poem:

Contract signed, so I am happy to announce that "Lago das Estrelas" will be coming soon to Short Édition!!!

I wrote this while depressed over my disability. I confidently said I would do ANYTHING to be cured when a very unexpected thought challenged that assertion. This story is that thought.

Read this story first thing in the morning and it packed more "wake up" punch than a thousand cups of coffee, and I am now haunted, too. Read it and join me in being punched in the face and haunted for eternity (in a good way!).
