My da is in the hospital awaiting an operation after being rushed to the ER. He’s still got that Irish optimism, so that’s good. But 2026 can already kiss my ass.

I’m a little blue. Very stressful family health stuff being stressful, and all of my Christmas decorations are down today. I miss my tree already. It helped.

I played with clay! Their skin is actually a bright yellow-green in person, so maybe they’re alien Christmas elves? Would fit my brand as a spec fic author! Why can’t aliens make toys, right?

2025 highlights, last day! Remember when I said I had a cool reading assignment? I couldn’t tell you what it was, but now I can! I was a judge for the 2025 Indieverse Awards Book of the Year panel! It was a great experience! And the winning book was well deserved! I highly recommend it!
