So, I fucked off, focused on disability advocacy in lit spaces, boosted the works of disabled creatives, wrote disabled protagonists myself, and lived happily ever after!

So, I discovered something cool about my new deer run treadmill. Because it’s compact, and how the handles are, it makes me feel like I’m using my rollator. (Except the ground is moving underneath me.) So I think this is really going to work for me. I did a 20-minute walk yesterday.

On the advice of friends, I left Twitter years ago, because they saw how it was affecting me mentally. I was so sad to leave the wonderful community I had made there. But thankfully, I found everybody again here!

It’s been a really emotional day, but one bright spot was that my new treadmill came in. No frills or anything. I just need something to help me move my leggies. Beside the treadmill is a gliding elliptical, which is really great for loosening my connective tissues. Fibro fitness is challenging.

I write my books using my meat brain. I don’t use generative AI.
I only use assistive tech like dictation or read aloud accessibility functions. They don’t make up content. They just put down what I say or read it back to me.

I’m a little blue. Very stressful family health stuff being stressful, and all of my Christmas decorations are down today. I miss my tree already. It helped.

I played with clay! Their skin is actually a bright yellow-green in person, so maybe they’re alien Christmas elves? Would fit my brand as a spec fic author! Why can’t aliens make toys, right?
