Disabled, autistic, and queer. Award-winning author of the disability-hopepunk adventure, Season One: Iris and the Crew Tear Through Space! Award-winning co-editor of the disability fiction anthology, Nothing Without Us Too. I also like cake. (She/her) 🇨🇦
Hi, I’m Cait (like 🐈.) I’m an award-winning alphabet arranger who really loves cake. I have been sober for over 35 years now, and this was the cake I baked for it! (BTW, my WIP is Hot Wings and Sauciness, the meet-awkward-space-opera romance nobody asked for!) #WeeknightWriters

Oh oh oh! I did have a moment like this recently! When Talia and I were at Trent University talking about what it’s like to be disabled creatives in PublishingWorldLand and about disability representation in fiction. I felt supremely at ease! #SpoonieAuthChat

OK, so fun fact. My bread machine bakes my gluten-free flax bread in a cube shape. So I’ve started calling it Borg bread! Resistance to carbs is futile!

Happy Sober Day to me,

Happy Sober Day toooo meeee!

Today, my sobriety turns 35! This is the cake I baked to celebrate it. 😊

I swear, this is true. I got my first publishing contract almost ten years ago because the publishing rep liked my fashionista dalek cosplay at a local con. Then I accidentally blurted out a pitch using my autistic blurty trait.

Be yourself! Be weird! You never know where it’ll lead! #WriteSky

Posting for @bgordonauthor.bsky.social (That guy who was at my wedding and still won’t leave my house!) Larry is so morally gray, he should be a paint chip colour! And there’s such a great sidekick too. To nominate this book, please visit indiestorygeek.com/story/10059. Thanks for considering!

I had a wonderful time at Trent today, speaking with students about disability representation and my lived experiences as an autistic and disabled woman!

I truly believe in celebrating nominations! While I am happy to have won two lit awards, I am also proud of the nominations where I haven’t won (Or haven’t yet won?).

Have Cricut, will craft! 😊 #WriteSky

Oh gosh, I’ve never made cookies that way. I love drop cookies. And this is my favourite lazy recipe! One bowl, make into little balls like clay, press with fork, then bake for 10-12 minutes. POOF!

I even added a teeny chocolate chip cookies
