I'm watching an adult creator get systematically cut off from every income stream by payment processors and now debankment could be on the table. She makes legal content. They are trying to shut her up and hope that we'll shut up too.

We must get louder. Call Visa and MC. Tell them this will stop.
#SaveSpeech

Ana's situation has gotten more severe. This is blatantly targetted debanking and [extremely unfortunate] proof that these call campaigns are getting under paypros skin

Keep calling Visa and MC and demanding they stop discriminating against adult content!

A compilation of Detox Doodles!

This is a habit of drawing something every time I feel the urge to scroll unnecessarily. It helps stop the bad habit and start a new good habit of sketching daily!

We have these stickers. Can confirm they are extremely good.
Get some stickers from Red
Hey folks! I started an Esty shop for stickers as a little side hustle. If you could share this link with others I would be greatly appreciative <3 Here's a small sample of what is currently available as I continue to add more.

A rare interview with the creators of the always-funny, always-brilliant, and *usually*-sexy—or occasionally anti-sexy—OGLAF!

Cooper has kept a low profile over the years, but is legitimately one of the very best artists in comics today. Read OGLAF if you're old enough to drive!
Talking Oglaf with Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne: 'We'd stay up all night drawing stuff to make each other laugh' - The Comics Journal
Other than some time off every year for Christmas, Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne have delivered a new Oglaf comic, skewering fantasy tropes with absolutely not safe for work humor, every week since 2008...

The forest wasn't always burnt. It wasn't always bare.
The bones of the land break through the ground,
But no one gathers there.
Yet when the rains drench the soil and run through rivers white,
The grasses grow, the life returns
To the wild mountainside

I do gotta agree.
You can come at this argument from a labor, philosophical, or environmental angle.

The arguments /for/ Generative AI are largely based in magical thinking; relying on a bunch of IF's and MAYBEs falling improbably together to make a magical utopian future.
A good reminder of where I stand on this: I DGAF how technically good you are at traditional painting. If you use genai in ANY part of your process, you have abandoned the soul of art, abandoned the artist community and forfeit any reason I should give you an ounce of respect.

Palaeoplatyceros hispanicus- a muntjac-like deer from the Middle Miocene of Spain. Numerous antlers found on Otero Hill in Palencia allow to trace the age-related dimorphism of these animals. The illustration shows an adult, possibly even old, animal and a younger deer in the background.

Funfacts for nearby nature:

The hairy scorpion is the largest scorpion in North America.

Beetles like this Eleodes and Asbolus have fused elytra. They cannot open their shell. BUT, they do still have wings in there!

It’s been a crazy family health crisis kind of month, but I finally made it back into the studio to finish up this 24x36” acrylic on canvas painting titled ‘Huggies and Snackies’. A beautiful stalked carnivorous sponge is joined by pink brittle stars and a golden crinoid. Cuties 😍 #deepsea 🐡🦑 #art

Through A LOT of trial and error, I finally figured out how to print my own zines. Now I shall be UNSTOPPABLE!

I'll get these listed in my webshop tomorrow because I know exactly nobody has been waiting anxiously for me to print these zines that took untold hours to make.
