DST was introduced in late '60s/early '70s Australia with the promise to the workers that the summer sun setting later gave us more time to enjoy activities after work. 50 years later, global temps have risen by 1.1 - 1.3 degrees C. So, in reality, DST gives us more time to sit in front of the AC.

Well it went ok. I asked the nurse to mask. She said “oh but you’re wearing an n95 so I don’t need to”. I said “ I’d prefer you did please”. So she did without further comment. Test results were good too which was a bonus.
