There's at least 4 videos of and at least a dozen eyewitnesses to this killing. If DOJ won't cooperate then charge Bovino and make his defense counsel produce the evidence during trial.

Better yet, disestablish all of DHS, and undo the nightmarish idiocies that we created in a panic 25 years ago. Reestablish the INS, get rid of ODNI, fix the damage from the Patriot Act, etc.
For the love of all that is decent and holy: abolish ICE

“There is high potential for debris striking an aircraft resulting in devastating loss of the aircraft, flight crew, and passengers,” wrote Steve Jangelis, a pilot and aviation safety chair.
Three SpaceX rockets exploded unexpectedly last year – twice raining down debris over busy airspace.

“It literally looked like the sun coming out,” one passenger said.

Such midair scrambles could become more frequent as launches increase, experts say.

This seems significant: not a FORMER DHS official, but a SENIOR (current) one saying the officer who fired acted counter to training.

This is not an admin that admits mistakes. And they are hanging this guy out to dry on Day One.

I think they know this is bad. Really bad.

The sheer number of videos of the shooting is horrific, but in the vein of what @prisonculture.bsky.social has been saying, it proves how many people cared enough to show up where ICE was and record them. It wasn't just one or two legal observers, and when Good was shot, they didn't abandon her.

If this were a private law firm with 5% of the resources of the DOJ, this would have been done by the deadline. They just missed another deadline to report all of the politicians in their files, and they’re supposed to justify all of their redactions.

It is grotesque to hear Kristi Noem justify her killing as a response to "domestic terrorism” & for Trump to spread further lies on social media. [1/2]

The above is from DOJ's deadly force policy. DHS is not under DOJ and may have a separate policy but I imagine it is substantially similar. I doubt these ICE agents are trained in the legal parameters (FBI agents have them DRILLED in), and they likely do not care www.justice.gov/jm/1-16000-d...

Minneapolis Mayor says video shows DHS claims of self-defense are “bullshit.” He says ICE created the situation & made it worse. His message to ICE: “Get the fuck out of Minneapolis." He encourages citizens not to take the bait & rise to the occasion. "Let's show them unity."
The truth about this incident will emerge. Plenty of people took video; the shooting will be analyzed. A badge is not a license to shoot. Deadly force can’t be used unless an agent reasonably believes their life/the lives of other are at risk. Law enforcement’s job is to protect & serve.
A US citizen has apparently been shot by ICE agents in Minneapolis. I’m gathering information, but the situation on the ground is volatile.

ICE should leave now for everyone’s safety.
