The top 10% of richest Americans own 87% of stocks.

The top 1% alone own roughly half of all stocks.

It's worth pointing out once again that the stock market is not the economy.

Good news for the new year! It never made sense that the day the offsprings turned 12 their ride fare went from $1 to $12, making a train ride for a family of 5 much much cheaper on a polluting car then on a sustainable train

Congestion Pricing is intended to raise $1,000,000,000 for MTA Capital projects annually . At the current fees it raises a little more than half of it. It was supposed to be $15 but then Gov Hochul lowered it to $9
Year 1 data on congestion pricing in Manhattan…

* Vehicle traffic: -11%
* Foot traffic: +3.4%
* Storefront vacancy: -0.9%
* Pollution: -22%
* Revenue for mass transit: $548M

So YES this has been a huge success.

By noon, he'd already filed 55 complaints into the 311 portal.
