I freed a Canada goose that was stuck in the creek ice this morning. The city-est kid you've ever seen, standing on the ice and tossing shovelfuls of creek water at a hissing goose.

I marched with my union today —several colleagues brought their children. It was a family-friendly afternoon rally & march on a beautiful, unseasonably balmy day — turned into an absolute war zone by the feds.
I just got tear gassed along with thousands of union members, many of whom had their families with them. Federal agents at the ICE facility tear gassed children. We must abolish ICE, DHS, and we must have prosecutions. I expect to see enforcement of our city code prohibiting the use of tear gas.

Just a reminder that at least 242 journalists were killed by Israel since October 7.
Palestine was the test to see what they could do. Not standing in solidarity with Palestinians was not only a major moral and ethical failing it was a strategic mistake that everyone will pay for.
