Trump's deal to sell TikTok won't just enrich his billionaire pal Larry Ellison.

It also gives UAE investment firm MGX — a key business partner of the Trump family's crypto company — a major ownership stake in TikTok.

Everything is for sale.

1/ Just as a reminder, we WERE onshoring a bunch of manufacturing jobs, thanks to the CHIPS and IRA acts. Those jobs were spread around the country, many/most in red districts.

Trump trying to kill them all.

I’ve now watched this clip like 10 times and it’s instant first ballot hall of fame. One of the most comically out of touch things I’ve ever heard heard from a public official.
Trump’s commerce secretary Howard Lutnick says if Social Security skipped a check, his mother-in-law wouldn’t complain—and if you would, it indicates you are probably a fraudster. Insane.

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.

18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

We made this website to tell our story:

This should be 25th amendment level conduct. The president ordered water to be released from a random dam in California nowhere near the wildfires and then claimed it would help. That’s literally Mad King behavior.

This seems like a problem.
This is nightmarish. Musk wants direct control over the tools that turn on and off the federal government’s $6 trillion disbursement system. The nonpartisan employee overseeing them retired in protest. Now the path is open for the system to be used as an ideological weapon.

If the FAA director got fired over a business beef AND there was an air traffic controller hiring freeze despite huge shortages AND a chaotic blitz to hollow out federal bureaucracy, and then within a week the first American airliner crashes in 16 years, you would be insane not to talk about it all.

The Congressional GOP and the Supreme Court have truly created a monster: Trump knows he faces zero accountability from impeachment or prosecution, and now doesn’t even have to face voters again. It’s going to be kleptocracy on an unprecedented scale.
