Would it be too much to ask a journalist to calculate the difference in cost between last year’s and this year’s “Walmart Thanksgiving Meal” using the same menu as last year? Saying “there’s less food” is lazy beyond belief.
Trump just talked again about how the cost of a Walmart Thanksgiving meal is down, and what a good economic indicator that is.

As a neuroscientist, I’d suggest there is a profound disconnect between what *some* computer scientists think is representative of “intelligence”, cognitive ability, or descriptions of consciousness from some in AI work.
