Sunday night dinner will be a piece of chicken fried steak short tonight due to a sneaky spaniel. He is unrepentant and says we always forget to get him a plate of food at dinner so he took matters into his own paws.

I'm watching the new Superman and my first thought is James Gunn is obviously a dog owner. I know people talk about their dogs being sweet to them when they're sick, but mine is much more likely to jump on me and try to get me to play with him just like Krypto.

I have to be up in less than 3 hours. I had no caffeine today and took my melatonin/l-theanine/gaba supplement on time. I did get a steroid shot today though. I'm guessing that may be the issue. Or just my regular old insomnia refusing to go away.

Picked Spencer up from the groomer today and a guy was waiting for his dog as well. I can’t remember what band was on his tshirt but everything about him screamed heavy metal rocker dude. His dog comes out and it’s the cutest, fluffiest Pomeranian. He treated it with a hi, baby! Love that so much

Picked Spencer up from the groomer today and a guy was waiting for his dog as well. I can’t remember what band was on his tshirt but everything about him screamed heavy metal rocker dude. His dog comes out and it’s the cutest, fluffiest Pomeranian. He treated it with a hi, baby! Love that so much
Phone: Alarm goes off- storm with possible baseball size hail warning. Animals outside will be hurt.
Spencer: Hi, I want to go out.
Me: No! Did you not hear the warning?
Spence: You're mean, I'm going to pout now.

Cat-sitting was fun last weekend and the beginning of this week but I'm glad to be back to my normal routine. The young cats have now decided they don't have to be well-behaved around me, but they're so cute that I don't care.

Took Spencer for a mile walk today since it rained& was cool. On the way back he insisted on cutting down the street in front of our house & going in the front instead of going on the sidewalk behind our house & going in the back like usual. He was just so tired. Got in& he promptly got the zoomies.
