In years past, I probably would have smiled and kept on working, taking the occasional glance out the window to see if it was still snowing. But today I have decided to take a break and watch the snowfall. As I get older, I'm getting better about choosing to take the time to live in these moments.

It's snowing again here, just a light flurry, nothing that will stick to the ground, but I find it so beautiful that my eyes started welling up.

There is a not insubstantial part of me that wishes I had known, as a young adult, that art/media conservationist and archivist was an actual career path. Oh well. Still, I'm fascinated by behind-the-scenes looks at careers and places such as these.
