The fact that Comer and Jordan keep using language of “getting past” and “DoJ is legally allowed to release” mean they’re going to neuter this bill. The headlines stating Trump “backs it” despite the actual language of his post, are misleading and giving cover.

Kinda crazy that most of these headlines about Trump caving and shout-typing “I DON’T CARE” as a sharp reversal or acceptance to towards the House Epstein vote. Doesn’t line up with the unitary executive being able to unilaterally direct his DoJ to release the documents. How convenient.
