Were jaguar! 🐆
A Mayan incense burner depicting a were-jaguar from Tacotalpa, Tabasco. It is an anthropomorphic figure with jaguar features, richly adorned with a headdress and ceremonial elements. Some sources link it to the sun god in the underworld. Incense burners were fundamental objects in Mayan rituals.

Proof from the second hand bookshop of my eclectic taste in reading.😆
1. I'm a huge Dylan Thomas fan and rate his authorial voice above all others.
2. McCarthy's Blood Meridian has been on my radar for quite some time, so a lucky find.👇

Reviews of Death of a Clown often mention that the reader felt as though it was written for them personally.
So many of us 'misfits' out there, which is why so many of us empathize with Chester's plight on a deep level.🖤

Imagine having had your stories accepted by the iconic Weird Tales Mag 28 times. This beauty of a collection from Tanith Lee contains every single one of them.🖤
It took me a while to get through them all, but the journey was well worth it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere full of dread and trepidation, what at first seems like a deadly outbreak of an infectious disease in a small town turns into something much more horrifying. In McGregor's hands, every detail is beautifully crafted and the slow burn reveal of what is happening is worth the wait. 📚💙
Bedtime reading 📚💙

Goodnight 🖤
