A real thing that just happened:
Found a signed @sgj.bsky.social book at BookPeople that I already own, also signed, so I left it. Decided I needed it anyway and went back to grab it. Just as I was walking up to the shelf, a lucky guy swooped in and snagged it.
Happy for the guy. Sad for me. 🔪🩸📚
