just watched the bone temple, and it complicates this. idk if i can say much without spoiling it, but idk i found it kind of hopeful.
28 years later is about how britain must be destroyed and destroyed again for good measure
catching up on the 28 days later series. the moral of days is that britain must be destroyed, and the moral of weeks is that canary wharf must be destroyed, which is a watering down of the message but the spirits still there

Fellow Irish people will probably see Ireland mentioned and go “Ireland”? Yes. Ireland. Trinity College is built off the back of money from Irish slave owners, and Irish mercenaries also benefitted from colonialism in India. As much as we are victims of it we are also participants of empire.
i will never stop reminding people that the united states of america is the uk's legacy and i don't wanna see any self righteousness from any europeans from ANY country, period. everyone from germany to ireland have benefitted from the colonization of indigenous countries globally.
