After the defection of a Labour cllr to the Greens at City Hall, there's new changes to Bristol's post-mayor committee system which reflects the new reality that the Greens have exactly half the 70 cllrs.
Complicated, but the Greens have more power now

I was at Bristol Magistrates Court today, as seven young men aged between 19 and 22 were charged with rapes, attempted rapes, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, and supplying drugs involving girls between the ages of 14 and 17

The South Bristol doctor jailed for smashing the display panels of petrol pumps at a service station on the M25 has not been struck off by a medical tribunal, but just suspended for 10 months. The tribunal said it was a finely-balanced decision...
