Database of very cool people
Here’s the deal, they captured my face standing outside of my kid’s preschool in a high-viz vest. The database is going to be so big it’ll be useless. Employers will ask why you aren’t in the database and unless you explain you were doing mutual aid, the people hiring will think you’re a bad person.
TOM HOMAN: “We’re going to create a database where those people that are arrested for interference, impeding and assault, we’re going to make them famous. We’re going to put their face on TV. We’re going to let their employers, in their neighborhoods, in their schools, know who these people are.”

I was not expecting the WoW content creators (some of them, anyway) to be some of the first to speak with moral clarity on politics but pleasantly surprised

friendly reminder that that national parks account is a fake grifter
AltNPS posted about Alex Pretti's murder 25 times since this morning. During that time, they spread misinformation about the shooting, lied about knowing the shooter's name, and generally flooded the zone with shit.

They're trying to milk this story for all it's worth.

here’s my impression of a democrat senator responding to a killer bee swarm in their house: “Bees must leave my kitchen. NOW.” [bees sting me to death]

Quality performance art. Easy to parse, thematically relevant, kinda gross. Love it.

Sure. AI companies have ALWAYS been training their models on Wikipedia content, which under the free and open access model is available to anyone — including AI companies. Agreements like these require AI companies to limit and offset the strain they place on Wikimedia infrastructure.
Hoping that @molly.wiki can help explain.
