when you understand that patriarchy views children as sexual property it all makes sense. there's no hypocrisy. exposure to queerness & transness threatens to "corrupt" the father's property, to "lead them astray" into self-determination, to taint their future sexual value. CSA is permissible as >
Thatcher's government did this with Section 28, banned the "promotion of homosexuality" as a danger to children, while actively protecting Jimmy Savile and who knows how many other pedophiles. It's the same damn playbook.

Just saw a news article, and a bunch of commenters said that other articles had a totally different version of what happened, and someone said that the media lies, and that’s why she fact-checks news articles with ChatGPT.

In my old town the GOP had run basically without serious challenge for decades. A bunch of us "millennials" joined the local Dem party and basically asked to help.
We were running it in a year. Within 4 years we had a majority of town seats flipped Dem. A FAR more progressive Dem than old party

Looking into bus or train options in case my Thanksgiving flight is canceled. As I'd expected, they suck. Shortest options are about 18 hours, and either leave or arrive around 3am.

Anyway, I'm terrified by the fact that it's been totally normalized to harass and threaten places you heard about online based on one 30 second video that was recorded without the subject's consent.
