As a hopeless Bard fanboy, I had a *ton* of fun preparing for and recording this Alternate Ending. Probably the largest number of films we’ve ever covered in one episode?
The Podcast: Shakespeare on Film - Alternate Ending
We’ve been sitting on this idea for a while, and with Chloe Zhao’s Oscar hopeful Hamnet opening this month, it seemed like as good a time as any to finally move forward with one of the biggest topics ...

Prey is such a good video game. I might wish the character writing were stronger, but otherwise it's everything I could ask out of a modern take on the immsim. Totally engrossing start to finish.

Designer: all right Mr. Del Toro here’s those Frankenstein’s monster designs, real sexy just like you asked for.
Del Toro: (nodding) this is exactly as sexy as I asked for.

I’m hard-pressed to think of a better director for Black Hole!
🚨Jane Schoenbrun is adapting BLACK HOLE for Netflix.🚨

Charles Burns’ cult graphic novel of teenage mutation, sex & rot in the suburbs — through the I Saw the TV Glow lens?! We’re not ready for this kind of beautiful sickness.

Netflix orders Jane Schoenbrun adaptation of Charles Burns’s Black Hole, direct to series
Netflix has ordered Jane Schoenbrun’s adaptation of Charles Burns’s Black Hole, in what promises to be a perfect collision of adolescent body horror and screen-age dysphoria.

CHOTINER: So your son is 14, is that right?

IKARI: It's complex, Isaac. If—

CHOTINER: And the “robot” he pilots, that’s actually the child of an alien you keep crucified in the basement, which is possessed by the spirit of his dead mother?

IKARI: Look, let me answer the question.

CHOTINER: Sure.

So we’re at whatever stage is “adding the concept of antifascism to the terror watchlist,” I see. Not sure even Eco bothered to spell out that step.

The New Sun, 30” x 40” acrylic on canvas. Book of the New Sun fan art. This thing took me forever, started in October of last year. Will post more info on instagram when I have time. Also if anyone wants to put me in touch with TOR or the Wolfe estate that’d be cool. Alright. Thanks!

If you don’t have anything bad to say about a man who dedicated his life to hate and the persecution of vulnerable minorities, including advocacy of violence towards them, maybe don’t say anything at all. Your selective celebration speaks volumes, as do the lies about what he actually stood for.

I spent 45 minutes with silksong and these are my first impressions: is this real? Events appear to transpire beyond some sort of barrier or screen I cannot influence aside from pressing buttons on my "side" of the dividing medium, but if these bugs are really doing all that it should be on the news
